The Watervale Hotel in the heart of the Clare Valley wine region has has been recognized by winning over 20 awards since re-opening in September 2020 most recently the '2022 Best Restaurant in a Pub or Club in Australia' (RCA), as well as the '2021 Best Wine List in Australian Country Pub', '2022 Best Tourism Restaurant' (TicSA), and 'Best Hotel Restaurant' in the world (Corporate Livewire).
Our offering is farm-to-plate, sourced from local farms including our own organic, bio-dynamic Penobscot Farm operated to permaculture principles. Our Penobscot Farm Tour and Degustation experience was awarded '2022 Excellence in Food Tourism' (TicSA).
