Festival of the Lamb

The Mintaro Progress Association are excited to announce that the Festival of the Lamb is back for 2021, September 22 - 28! An annual spring equinox festival that combines with the first buds of the vines and the premier time for new-season lamb.

"The Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb brings people and community together. With a strong focus on ethical, paddock to plate produce, the festival is a wonderful opportunity to hear from the passionate farmers and chefs about their livelihoods. A more intimate style of festival which truly engages the visitor, be sure to mark this year’s festival dates in your diary and book your chosen events soon

This year’s line up includes some ripper events. Experiences range from long lamb lunches and degustation lunches/dinners to an industry day, movie night, blessing of the fleece, lamb on the lawn and a wool and fibre fair. Not to mention a chance to enjoy some legendary Mintaro and Muleteer lamb sausages! This year’s venues include the Watervale Hotel, Mr Mick’s Cellar Door and Kitchen, Mintaro’s Magpie and Stump Hotel, Reilly’s Cellar Door and Restaurant, Paulett’s Bush DeVine Winery Restaurant, Skillogalee Winery and Restaurant, and Auburn’s Rising Sun Hotel." - Tamnia Paola, Food with a View
