Copper Mine Cottage

Copper Mine Cottage

This unique and historic cottage is one of the first buildings ever built in the mining town of Burra.

Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston, this was one of Thames Street cottages that are still some of the earliest residential buildings that remain in South Australia. This 2 bedroom, self-contained property bathes in modern conveniences and history, and is just a stones throw from Market Square and the main town centre.
