About the Production
Set at the local cricket club, audiences are introduced to Macca — a simple bloke who doesn't ask for much beyond the occasional beer… or seven. His life takes a dramatic turn when a mysterious trio of tuck shop ladies predict his rise to great power as club president. What follows is a sharp and hilarious tale of ambition, deception, betrayal, and the occasional cheeky murder, charting Macca's rise and fall from grace.
Guests are encouraged to make an evening of it, arriving from 6pm to relax on the Schreiner Greens with a bottle or glass of wine, and enjoy delicious local eats from Antidote Kitchen before the performance begins at 7:30pm.
