The Watervale Hotel is a farm fresh to plate restaurant in a casual Pub in the heart of the Clare Valley Wine region. We source produce from a number of local farms, including our own organic, bio-dynamic vegetable, fruit, nut berry, herb and leaf Penobscot Farm operated to permaculture principles.

In addition to our daily a la carte/ Feed Me/ Degustation/ Feast menus, we have an extensive wine list that showcases Clare Valley diversity, and beautifully renovated private, casual and formal dining spaces; the Watervale Hotel offers an expanding range of experiences.

Our Signature Experiences include:
-Teach Me, Feed Me: One hour Clare Valley Wine Masterclass prior to a full Feed Me Lunch.
-Six Senses Penobscot Farm Tour and Six Course Degustation Dinner matched to Clare Valley wine or Penobscot Mocktails. Learn about the organic, biodynamic Penobscot Farm based on permaculture principals- Watervale Hotels Farm-to-plate. Then experience tutored tasting that covers Clare Valley terroir, climate, geology and geography. 
- Cooking Masterclass: A feast for the senses. An all day immersive experience, including demonstrations, preparations of salad and vegetables and visit Penobscot to pick your fresh organic produce. Enjoy a personal chef for the day as you assist in creating your lunch feast (offer on weekdays only).

Every day at 11am we off a Clare Valley Wine Masterclass or book a Wine Flight in the afternoon.
