As the largest commercial fully integrated carob processor in the world, The Australian Carob Company is a unique operation. The business produces a delicious range of premium carob products, including kibble, powder, syrup, buttons, seeds and pods. Owners and managers, Michael and Jam Jolley pride themselves on producing products which are healthy and flavoursome. They planted their orchard from grafted trees in 2000 on a 76-acre block near Burra. Today, there are approximately 6000 carob trees. They use state-of-theart machinery, including a sophisticated kibbler, a large roaster and mill, plus newly installed packing machinery. They are the only carob producers who harvest, processing and pack on site, maintaining control of the supply chain.
