Fringe Festival 2017 at Auburn Courthouse - The String Family

Come to the beautiful HATs Cultural Courthouse in Auburn to experience the toe-tapping classical crossover genre as performed by the 2015-16 Australian National  Busking Champions - The String Family! Joel & Sarah Moir (Dad & Mum), son Heath (fourteen) and daughter Ashleigh (twelve) are all classically trained and have travelled more than 50,000 km over the last twelve months entertaining Australians from all walks of life - from the Sydney Opera House to the camp kitchens of rural caravan parks. Get an insight into full time life on the road of an Australian family of musicians 'living the dream'.

The show weaves their story with popular classics - from Queen and Coldplay to Zorba’s Dance and Hava Nagila. Sarah, “a world class musician”  has performed and toured with the likes of Ronan Keating, Kylie Minogue, Susan Boyle, Seal, Boy & Bear, and now - The String Family!

This is their only full length show - two sets with an interval - with drinks and light refreshments available at the venue. Make a night of it - it's family and child friendly. You will NOT be dissapointed. Limited tickets available. Prices from $20 for a cencession / child to $70 for a family.
